The Grand River Valley wine region is producing wines that compete on a national stage, and the tasting rooms are as welcoming and well-designed as anything you'd find in California or Oregon. Medina County's brewery scene — six breweries in a city of 26,000 people — punches well above its weight. And the best part is that none of it feels pretentious or exclusive. The tasting rooms are filled with families, couples on date nights, and groups of friends catching up after work. It's community, served in a glass.
