Confirm Your School District
Not every address in a given suburb feeds into that suburb's school district. Use the Ohio Department of Education's school district finder or call the district directly to confirm your assigned school. This is especially important in areas where municipal and school district boundaries do not align perfectly.
Gather Required Documents
Ohio schools require proof of residency (lease or utility bill), a certified birth certificate, current immunization records, and a parent or guardian's photo ID. If your child has an IEP or 504 plan, bring a copy of that documentation as well. Some districts require a physical examination within the past year.
